Maya Lior is a Character Designer and freelancer based in Roswell, GA. She graduated from Massachusetts College of Art and Design with a BFA in Animation, learning traditional animation on paper before moving into digital. She loves working in 2D, designing for both 2D and 3D TV pipelines across Adult and Pre-K shows.

Maya recently worked on Disney Junior's Ariel as a Character Designer, bringing mermaids, merlins, and under the sea creatures to life. It was an honor to work on such an iconic and cherished Disney character. At home, she enjoys painting with gouache and has recently explored wooden doll art.
